Bio: Professor Felix Amoah is a distinguished academic and researcher in Marketing Management at Nelson Mandela University, where he serves as Head of the Department of Marketing Management. He holds a doctoral degree in marketing and has extensive experience in both teaching and scholarly research within the broad fields of consumer behaviour, customer experience, tourism, and retail marketing. He is recognised for his contribution to marketing scholarship that bridges theory with practical insights relevant to African and global markets. Professor Amoah is known for his dedication to academic excellence, research integrity and student development, Professor Amoah plays a pivotal role in nurturing the next generation of marketers and business leaders.

Bio: Professor Kwame Asmah-Andoh is a seasoned academic and leader in the field of Public Management and Leadership at Nelson Mandela University. Professor Asmah-Andoh holds advanced qualifications in public administration and related disciplines, reflecting a strong foundation in governance, policy analysis, and public management. His academic journey has combined rigorous scholarship with active engagement in teaching and supervision at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Professor Asmah-Andoh is an active researcher with publications and contributions in areas including local governance, public policy analysis, public management reform, and comparative studies of government structures.

Bio: In addition to Profecia IT, Ebenezer notably founded Fleet Sync, where his strategic leadership and operational insight has driven significant growth and positioned the company as a leading national player in its market. His ability to identify opportunities, execute complex strategies, and build sustainable businesses has been a defining feature of his career.

Throughout his career, Mr. Danso has provided strategic accounting and tax services to businesses across multiple industries, supporting growth, regulatory compliance, and financial sustainability. He is the Managing Director and Managing Partner of City Centre Financial Accountants, where he provides executive leadership, maintains strong client relationships, and ensures high standards of service delivery, financial reporting, and governance.

His extensive professional experience and commitment to best practice make him a trusted advisor and a valuable contributor to trade, investment, and development initiatives across Africa.

Bio: Mr. Olatunji serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Mowbray Real Estate, where he provides strategic leadership in property development, investment, and advisory services. In addition, he is the Managing Director of African Renaissance Suppliers (South Africa), a firm engaged in trade, procurement, and investment facilitation across key African markets. His expertise brings specialized knowledge in risk management and security operations, supporting businesses and investors operating in complex environments. Mr. Olatunji holds academic credentials from Ogu State University, Nigeria, and professional training from the Western Cape Security Training Institute, South Africa. His multidisciplinary expertise positions him as a valuable contributor to trade, investment, and economic development initiatives across the African continent.

Bio: His work focuses on quality assurance, traceability, and production resilience to support trade facilitation, investment readiness, and value-chain integration. He has held senior technical roles within Ghana’s cocoa sector, including at Olam Ghana and the Ghana Cocoa Board (COCOBOD), where he supported farmer engagement, input distribution, adoption of improved agronomic practices, and enforcement of national quality standards critical to Ghana’s premium cocoa positioning in global markets. Francis is a certified Project Management Consultant with experience delivering multi-stakeholder sustainability and supply-chain modernization initiatives. He is currently a PhD candidate at the University at Albany (UAlbany), supporting research at the Rockefeller Institute of Government with a focus on environmental safety, sustainability policy, and regulatory frameworks. He is also the Founder and CEO of RTD Group, a Ghana-based trading and automotive company, and is committed to advancing Africa’s sustainable development through resilient trade and investment-led value chains.

Bio: He is currently completing a PhD in Economics at Nelson Mandela University, where his research examines the relationship between trade policy, economic complexity, and growth within the framework of Africa’s new trade agreement, the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA). Edmund holds a Master of Commerce in Economics from Nelson Mandela University and a Bachelor of Commerce in Economics from Walter Sisulu University. His academic work is grounded in quantitative research methods and data analysis. Professionally, Edmund serves as a government communicator, with responsibilities spanning policy interpretation, public engagement, and reporting on development programmes. He also has experience in public finance and revenue management, which complements his research interests and strengthens his applied policy perspective. His research and professional interests lie at the intersection of trade, development policy, governance, and inclusive growth in Africa.

Bio: She is currently in the Oncology Department at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, where she works closely with scientists, clinicians, and data teams to support the development of new therapeutic strategies. She has also held industry roles at Pfizer, contributing to vaccine research focused on RNA-based platforms. These experiences have given her direct exposure to pharmaceutical research and development and a practical understanding of the path from scientific discovery to market. Dr. Badu earned her Ph.D. in Biology from the University at Albany (SUNY), U.S.A, with research focused on viral infection, immune responses, and RNA biology, and has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications and presented at leading scientific conferences. In her trade and investment work, she supports pharmaceutical companies expanding into new markets, facilitates public–private partnerships, and promotes investment across the life sciences value chain, with particular interest in local manufacturing, technology transfer, and sustainable pharmaceutical ecosystems. Actively engaged in professional service and mentorship, she has served on several scientific and diversity-focused committees and brings a collaborative approach, global perspective, and clear understanding of industry needs to her work in pharmaceuticals trade and investment.

Bio: Grounded in development studies, her work explores the socio-economic drivers of growth, with a focus on sustainable development, rural livelihoods, food and water security, and infrastructure resilience. She brings strong empirical expertise to Africa’s trade and investment landscape, drawing on research such as collaborative studies on port productivity at the Port of Ngqura to examine how infrastructure efficiency and community-level development enhance trade competitiveness and investment appeal. Dr. Laura holds a PhD and MSc from the University of the Witwatersrand, a BSc Honours from the University of South Africa, and a BSc from Walter Sisulu University.
